Shabbat Services

We gather on in person at 15 Newbury Street, Boston in Lindsey Chapel and on Zoom to celebrate a unique Multicast
Shabbat Evening service twice monthly on Friday evenings at 6:30pm.  Whether onsite or online, we pray together as a community and share our joys and concerns from those attending in the chapel and from those attending online on Zoom.
Check the temple calendar for upcoming dates. All who come in peace are welcome to join us! Email info@centralreformtemple.org for details on joining online.

Worship & Community Life

We are thankful that through the use of technology, uplifting, engaging worship was possible when in-person worship was no longer safe, Rabbi Devon and BK turned our warm, loving in-person Central Reform service experience into a beautiful, participative virtual service on that first Shabbat Evening, March 13, 2020 when the world began to shut down due to the spread of CoVid-19. Our services are imbued with the love and spirit and that ‘secret sauce’ which makes what we have so special.
Now that it's safe to gather in person we meet in Lindsey Chapel at 15 Newbury Street, Boston where we share space in a covenantal relationship with Emmanuel Church. And each week we offer the opportunity to join the service online via Zoom to participate fully. Online attendees greet those onsite before and after the service, are invited to speak their joys and concerns during the service to be shared with those onsite and even participate in the kiddish by raising their challah's to enhance our onsite experience of inclusion with our online family.
