New Members
Central Reform Temple offers a distinctive Jewish alternative, with members from a wide range of spiritual backgrounds. Some walk to our Back Bay location and others live in the Boston suburbs or beyond. Regardless of your home location or where you are on your spiritual journey, CRT will provide you with a place to grow and explore new horizons. Services, gatherings, and opportunities for study are offered both in-person and virtually.
To explore becoming part of our congregation, please send an email to [email protected] , and join us for a service in person (at 15 Newbury Street) or online (via Zoom). Please also feel free to contact Rabbi Michael Shire ([email protected]). If you decide to join CRT, we will welcome you warmly and help you to become part of the CRT community.
Financial support for the life of our congregation is provided primarily by our annual Membership Pledges. The suggested pledges listed below only partially fund our yearly expenses. Please consider pledging above your suggested level, if you are able. However, CRT welcomes all members regardless of ability to pay: if you are unable to meet your pledge level this year, please let us know what you can afford.
CRT Membership Pledges, August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025
Members age 31 and above: $1,500 per person
Members age 19 to 30: $500 per person
