Community
Many in our congregation will tell you that the CRT community is among the most valued benefits of their Temple membership. Our members are actively involved and get together in many different settings. In addition to our twice-monthly Shabbat services (hyperlink) and dinners, members can join our Temple community in Torah study, movie nights, traveling locally, domestically and internationally as part of our “Touring as Torah”, and museum visits. We develop deep relationships with each other and our Rabbi. Being accepted and part of our community is easy. All one needs to do is show up. It doesn’t matter what your background is – born Jewish, practicing Judaism, a seeker, or anywhere along the spiritual journey. Our community is welcoming to all and has a special focus on adult activities and learning.
Here’s what our members say:
I sort of stumbled into CRT. My spouse isn’t Jewish and I had only attended services on the High Holy Days. Immediately I felt a sense of warmth and community. The services were very accessible for anyone who doesn’t read or understand Hebrew. My spouse was embraced as well and we have developed meaningful relationships as well as a deepened sense of spirituality.
